At the beginning of my mission there was a lot to conquer. I was scared, needed more faith, hated the unknown, yet this scripture has always stuck with me. It was the first scripture that my trainer help me memorize.
"Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life." 2 Nephi 31:20
I feel like I am fighting for my life right now, but I have the key. Press forward, feast on the word and endure!

I matter to Him!
I have really been struggling lately. The Relief Society lesson on Sunday really helped me. The subject was comfort and the teacher specifically focused on Elder Uchtdorf's talk "You Matter to Him." Many of her comments and the comments from the other sister;s were inspired and just what I needed to hear. She did not share this part of his talk, but I really like it...
"Third, no matter where you live, no matter how humble your circumstances, how meager your employment, how limited your abilities, how ordinary your appearance, or how little your calling in the Church may appear to you, you are not invisible to your Heavenly Father. He loves you. He knows your humble heart and your acts of love and kindness. Together, they form a lasting testimony of your fidelity and faith.
Fourth and finally, please understand that what you see and experience now is not what forever will be. You will not feel loneliness, sorrow, pain, or discouragement forever. We have the faithful promise of God that He will neither forget nor forsake those who incline their hearts to Him.21 Have hope and faith in that promise. Learn to love your Heavenly Father and become His disciple in word and in deed.
Be assured that if you but hold on, believe in Him, and remain faithful in keeping the commandments, one day you will experience for yourselves the promises revealed to the Apostle Paul: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
Just need to hold on.
